March 1, 2009 Standing on the promises
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13
In his hit song, “Stand,” Pastor Donnie McClurkin asked, “What do you do when you’ve done all you can?” In these times when so many people are losing their jobs, their homes and their hope, the Word of God to His people is to stand. No matter what you may be facing, know that God is able to work it out. God has promised in His word that we don’t have to worry about food or clothing or anything because He already knows we need those things, and He’s promised to provide our every need.(Matt. 6:25-34)
Be encouraged by God’s promises.
